Application PPHGA requires that all paragliding and hang gliding pilots flying within the territorial air space of the Philippines to obtain and posses a proper and valid flying license. PPHGA requires that all Filipino and Foreign nationals living, flying within the territorial air space of the Philippines, and doing commercial paragliding and hang gliding operation in the Philippines to obtain a PPHGA License card.

PPHGA has a special arrangement with insurance provider, PHILIPPINE BRITISH ASSURANCE COMPANY, INC. All PPHGA pilot license includes an upgradeable basic PERSONAL accident insurance coverage. This is valid for Residents and Citizens of the Philippines.

PPHGA is the association for the regulation of paragliding and hang gliding sporting activities in the Philippines according to FAI sporting rules.
